Summer is here and so are the dry months.
- Monitor moisture levels in your gardens. Use water wise practices to maintain your plants.
- Look for drought stress in plants i.e. wilting or curling of leaves.
- Remove all weeds. These weeds will compete with your plants for moisture.
- Watch for insect damages especially Japanese Beetles. Set pheromone traps to help control Japanese Beetles.
- Begin to plan your fall plantings.
- Consult with a Certified Nursery and Landscape professional about water-wise irrigation practices.
