Not much is blooming or growing but now make sure your gardens ready for winter.

• Complete any pruning.
• Cut back perennials except grasses. Enjoy the grasses though the winter.
• Mulch perennial beds.
• Protect any plants along roads, driveways or walkways that could be harmed if snow is piled on them during snow removal.
• Protect plants from deer damage by wrapping them in netting or burlap.
